Severance Package

Severance Package

Robin Indar: bass/vocals

Josh Indar: guitar/vocals

Steve Bragg: drums

A classic power trio with Robin and Josh Indar (Black Fork) on bass, git and voxes, backed up by Steve Bragg (Vomit Launch, Special Forces) on drums, Sev Pac is a rockpunk anomaly from the tiny college town of Chico, California.

Raised on Dangerhouse, East Bay hardcore and unhealthy doses of caustic rock, they play because they're compelled to, and because almost no one else seems to get this shit right anymore.

Band Reviews

“It’s punk rock for sure, capturing the vestiges of early-’70s glam and garage and broken up by the occasional choogling riff (which no doubt comes from Indar’s not-so-secret love for ZZ Top).” -Mark Lore, CN&R

“Cross between The Alleycats and Dead Moon…” - Our friend Jim

“You guys sound like 1978!” - Vince Voodoo

“They came out with a gritty garage-rock sound that got the heads bobbing and the beers flowing. They reminded me a lot of Scared of Chaka, which was a pleasant surprise. Alternating between male and female vocals and backed by some serious drumming, Severance Package definitely has the chops to fill a dance floor...” - Synthesis

“I can’t decide who you guys remind me of more - The Pixies or X...” -Cliff fr/ the Freeze

“You never know what you’re going to get venturing into unknown territory with a band you’ve never heard of, but I’ll be damned if it wasn’t a great record. Severance Package out of Chico, California just plain rock on their “All Down Hill” 7”. That driving kind of early punk, no bullshit sound, featuring male and female vocals.” -Mustard Relics blog
